The department conducts research on clinical as well as theoretical respiratory care. Our goals includes:
•To become a research center for ventilator and pulmonary physiology
•To develop the theory and pattern of the measurement of lung function of clinical patients using ventilators
•To develop physiological and pathological training material for artificial lungs and interactive teaching software
•To carry out respiratory care research on new born and premature babies
•To develop research on the influence of the environment on the respiratory tract
•The design and technical evaluation of respiratory equipment, instruments, and consumables
•Evaluation of the effectiveness of respiratory care professional teaching
•Participation in various technical research projects
